In 1956, the first secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee Shu Tong dedicated for the hospital.
In 1957, according to the instructions of the State Council and the Provincial People's Committee, some experienced experts chosen by the hospital went to Friendship Hospital of the People's Republic of Mongolian in Mongolia and got cordially received by Premier Zhou Enlai and Vice Premier Chen Yi.
On March 20, 1993, the National Health Minister Chen Minzhang visited the hospital, and dedicated for the hospital.
In 1998, Hu Jintao visited the hospital.
In December 1999, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, Wu Guanzheng visited the hospital.
In 2007, the Minister of Health Chen Zhu gived inscription for the hospital.
